LORNE JACKSON – President
After 25 years in the financial services business he sold his company and left the “for profit” world in 2002 to create the Canadian National Christian Foundation (CNCF) as a federally incorporated public foundation to serve donors in Canada wanting to give more efficiently and with more flexibility. In 2017 CNCF reorganized and created a new charity called Financial Discipleship Canada (FDC). Lorne provides overall leadership and vision for the work of FDC.
With a passion for giving and overall stewardship Lorne has written a book on the subject of Stewardship. In his book he points out that stewardship is an often misunderstood and misrepresented word. His book entitled, “After the Faith Decision… all else is stewardship” reminds readers that stewardship is not just about money or fundraising but is all of life as we live for our Lord.
He enjoys mentoring numerous business and professional men as well as donating his time to his local church. Lorne also enjoys tennis, travelling and sharing time with his wife Doris of over 50 years and their two married children and four grandchildren.
TANYA PRINSEP – Director, Planned Giving Partnerships
Tanya joined the AWP team to bring leadership, creativity, and management to the planned giving partnerships.. She is an experienced and versatile professional with over 20 years of experience in both the corporate and not for profit sectors. Having developed and operated her own project and event management company, Tanya has become quite adept at leading and supporting team members to achieve objectives and maintain harmony and now carries that into all of our partnerships.
Her experience with and understanding of both Christian and secular environments allows her to ensure the voice of AWP is approachable, relevant and meaningful. She is fluently bilingual and appreciates the diversity of our communities.
She is an active volunteer, is a committed believer in mentorship and ongoing discipleship, an avid reader, and a keen observer of people.
Tanya and her husband Chris make their home in Merrickville, Ontario. She loves camping, travelling, cooking and music, and is always willing to try a new adventure.
David Krasna – Marketing Coordinator, Charity Partnerships
David, his wife Emily and their new baby son live in Kingston, Ontario. David completed his undergrad at Dalhousie University and is currently pursuing his MBA. He loves to play all kinds of sports, dabbles in playing the guitar and piano.
David joined the Advisors with Purpose team in March 2023. David enjoys volunteering to coach basketball and soccer teams, serves on the executive committee for Greater Love Canada, and runs weekly faith studies to help men grow in their relationship with God.
